Methane & the Climate Emergency

Methane is over 100 times more powerful than CO2.

0.5°C of current global heating is due to human methane emissions.

Luckily, methane washes out of the atmosphere quickly: after 7.6 years, half of it is already gone! This means we have a chance of bringing temperatures down if we stop fossil gas (particularly defusing methane bombs) and other methane sources.
